DocuToMD Privacy Policy

Your documents
DocuToMD processes documents on your Mac using an embedded engine and Apple Vision. Document contents are not uploaded to the developer, an AI API, or a cloud conversion service. No account, advertising, tracking SDK, or developer-operated analytics service is used. The engine and models are included with the app. No executable code is downloaded after installation. The local HTML preview blocks webpage scripts, network resources and page navigation.

Local data and retention
Converted documents are saved in the results folder, accessible from the toolbar. They stay there until you delete them in Finder. A local content cache contains converted text and images; its normal limit is 512 MiB and 14 days. Current queue results may temporarily exceed these limits. Temporary session files are removed on normal exit. Clearing the queue does not delete permanent exports.

The engine warms up when the app opens and is kept available between batches. It processes only documents you import, has no listening port, and stops when you quit the app. Closing the window may leave the app running. Logs may include filenames, file paths and third-party error messages; they are not sent automatically.

Links and support
Opening the privacy or support website uses your browser. Web hosts may process ordinary request information such as your IP address; those requests do not contain your documents. If you email support, the mailbox provider and developer receive the information you choose to send. Do not send confidential documents or unredacted logs. Apple-operated transactions and diagnostics are governed by Apple's policies.

Your choices
Import only documents you wish to process. Delete permanent exports in Finder when no longer needed. To remove private app data, quit the app and remove its cache and Application Support data inside its macOS sandbox container. Uninstalling the app may leave that data. We cannot read or remotely delete your local files. Contact support if you need help identifying the correct folders.

Use the Support link in the app or on the privacy-policy website. The public website identifies the domain support mailbox. This policy will be updated when the app's data handling changes.
